The State Group is seeking a Project Manager to work at our Evansville, Indiana, location. The ideal candidate may come from the electrical trades, electrical construction, maintenance, or related hands-on electrical experience and be interested in transitioning into project management. May also have a degree in Construction Management or Electrical Engineering and little to no professional experience.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Comply with all governmental, company, and customer safety requirements, and actively promote a positive safety culture with the project team and other contractors on the job site. Ensure all accidents and injuries are reported promptly.
• Meet established budget, financial, timeline, and scheduled project requirements.
• On-site supervision of tradecraft and administrative employees assigned to the project.
• Interface professionally and proactively with all project stakeholders, including but not limited to; the customer, general and other contractors, union representatives, and other State employees who support the project.
• Coordinate project resources including labor and tools and materials.
• Proactively anticipate and address project delays, cost issues, labor needs, and potential job fade.
• Communicate and present project status to various stakeholders.
• Additional duties as assigned.

WHAT YOU NEED TO JOIN THE TEAM

• Combination of education and experience considered, including recent graduates with a degree in Construction Management or Electrical Engineering.
• Experience with Accubid estimating software and Microsoft Project.
• Experience in coordinating industrial projects from planning through execution.
• Time management skills, with the ability to prioritize, organize, and complete multiple tasks in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and with clients.
